    Thanks for the advice. I will have to go up in the loft and find the box it came in.

     I did try ringing BT, but I after many attempts to navigate through their automated 'help' line I just gave up. I either ended up somewhere which was no help. or it hung up on me. I did find a section that claimed it would test my Hub phone line and then get back to me, but they never did.

     

    I'll let you know if the software update works.

    HAve you tried updating the software? There was also a section in the handbook saying about if, after an update your phone stops working you can run a recovery option on it. Do you have your manual handy?

    Hub Phone not working properly

    I have just got Option 3 broadband from BT. Set up was fine, and I managed to register my hub phone and make some calls with it on the first day. Since then, its has been acting very strangely. It receives calls ok, but the buttons on the handset seem to have stopped working properly, so I can't make any calls. Only the '0' button works, but when you press it, a second later, a '3' also appears on the display. I tried changing the batteries in the phone, but it made no difference.

     Anyone got any ideas?
