    Re: HSBC Cash E-Isa

Like you I have been surveying the ISA`s to find a good rate. It appears that HSBC are quite competetive at the moment but you need to have a current account with them. For me the criteria is easy access without penalty. I would like to be able to put other ISA`s in but I do not think you can do this, they all seem to want NEW money !

If anyone can find a better deal please let me know. Also does anyone know the interest rate for the Abbey postal ISA . I cannot find it anywhere.

    Thanks

    Re: HSBC Cash E-Isa

My min-isa is currently with ING Direct.

Can I change it to someone else with a better rate? Would it be worth it, taking into consideration what might be involved?

Any suggestions on who's coming out top at the moment. I've done a search but am getting confused with the account types (bonds or term, regular saver etc) and also with the interest (on maturity, annually etc). I'm guessing the best one to go for is one that pays monthly interest?

    Cheers

Kerfffufle, I agree with what has been said about using a financial institution that you are comfortable with, on the other hand I see no problem with chasing the highest rates, as long as the provider is subject to FSA rules. However, look at what has been said about the service some (so called) providers have been not providing.

    Re: HSBC Cash E-Isa

Most people simply reckon that the highest rate is the best option. Personally I like to deal with someone that I know and trust and who I can call round to talk to.

    HSBC Cash E-Isa

    Looking for some guidance.

Been looking at the HSBC Cash E-Isa with a rate of 6.25% AER (6.08% Tax Free). I havent seen many recommendations for this Cash isa option. Would really appreciate some guidance and thoughts on this cash isa. Seems that most people recommend the ICESave.

    Thanks in advance
