If you hand the car back, it will be sold, the proceeds deducted and charges added and the balance demanded. You are better selling it yourself. You can just ask the finance company for permission to do this rather than use swaplease or whoever. Hopefully the proceeds will be enough but the only way out is if the finance is paid off and you'll have to ask hom much is needed to do this if you settle, for example, at the end of the month.

I've got a 2 year car lease with 14 mths to run but i'm finding it really hard to meet the monthly repayments.

Is there anyway in which i can get out of this?

Is possible to transfer the lease to someone else?(think a firm swapalease do this)

How much would it cost if i just handed the car back?
