As an added issue here - you should only ever give out personal financial data (eg: cards numbers etc) if you see the little padlock logo at the bottom of your browser AND note that the address of the web site (the URL) starts with the letters "https" and not just "http". As a general rule, if you don't feel safe, don't do it!
