Sorry shiverkitten, I havent looked at what I am using when it comes to consumption, I dont have any arreras though.

I used to use my tumble dryer all the time, lights on, washing machine a couple of times a day.

But now I dont use the dryer, didnt do any washing yesterday, even my security light is turned off, but I have used £4.00 in the last 24 hours and 8 of those we were all in bed asleep..

This is what info I can get off the meter.

Standard rate consumption in kwhs or from meter reading 01306

Standard rate price per unit.13.68

I take it I will have to monitor the standard consumption rate for the next 24 hours to find oyt how much Electricity I m using, although I think 13.68 is still a bit steep for every kwh used..

I guess you're in the Manweb region and you are paying 11.42p standing charge per day or 79.94p per week.

Do you know your consumption? From your payments it's 29kWh per day. Are you paying any arrears?

I am new to this forum and need to ask if anyone knows just what the tarrif is with British Gas for Electricity.

I am using nearly £4.00 a day in Electricity, and have looked at my prepayment meter and it shows my tarrif being set at 13.68 per kwh...I know it takes 80p a week standing charge.

Now I had my meter changed a few months ago from a card meter to a key meter and since then I know the price of Electricity has gone up , but I seem to be paying over twice as much a week then I usuallly did..
