I had a feeling that that would be the case (going over the stated 10 working days). I guess the price and free line rental without the need for a BT line is just too good to be true!

Does anyone know of any other broadband companies that supply broadband without the need for you to have a BT line?

 

I have been with tiscali for 12 months.   Recently upgraded to 'up to 8m and landline package.   I have now been without q telephone line for 12 days and cannot get anyone to tell me what is happening.   My advice is.   DONT GO TO TISCALI

Transfering from Pipex to Tiscali brings up one of them old proverbs. You know........ the one with frying pan and fire in it!!

I was on Tiscali and only have two words about them............ BLOODY AWFUL!!!!!!

Am now on Eclipse Internet @ £14.99 a month. Has never let me down yet.

I know that Tiscali bought Pipex this year, but still don't know how long it'll take to transfer from Tiscali to Pipex.

Anyone have a rough idea?

Just a friendly word here, Pipex and Tiscali are the same company - just different names.

Hi everyone.

I've finally lost my patience with the recent poor service that Pipex has been giving us. Surfing speeds as well as download speeds have been awful.

I just wondered if anyone could tell me how long it takes to change from Pipex to Tiscali broadband once you've given them the MAC code. I really don't like the sound of being without broadband for 10 working days (time period that Tiscali stated).

Any info would be much appreciated.
