    HOME APPLIANCES

    Dear Sir,

I wondered whether there was a company that would cover my household appliances, ie washing machine, dishwasher, drier , fridge, oven, and cooker hood under one seperate policy, as i dont think my household policy will cover this.

         Many Thanks.

    Good morning Chef100Cook,

News to me! I thought they would be covered under contents section of your policy?. Fair enough if they are over a certain value you may have to declare them but still news to me. Have you checked with your insurer?

    Regards,

    Paul

    Hi Paul

I agree with you here, I'm not aware of any insurers who wont cover them as contents with the exception of what you've already said I'm not aware of any reason why its not covered.

Chef - the only other separate policy here is an extended warranty which there's pro's and con's for depending on the value and quality of the appliance.
