Are the high milage new cars a good idea? Hopefully i will be getting a diesel and i'm looking for an astra (new shape) i see them with full service history, i have a car valued at £4,000 and about £1,000 i can put towards max i do about 5-8,000 miles a year and i only need to upgrade for space i have a 3 door corsa that has never let me down so i'm looking for a 5 door astra and hoping for the same the car would be fine if it was just me and two kids but my partner is OCD and has to bring everything and its all boxed. when we went away to the coast last time it was just one child now that there is nearly 3 we had no room last time so i'm hoping i can get a cheap one.
