Re: Help With Credit Card - Not sure what to do.

If you've got the Abbey Zero card available to you giving 0% for 6 months without a BT fee then I would move your £2500 to this for 6 months then seek to get a 12 month 0% card with a BT fee of 3% or lower.

If you're spending £500 per month on expenses which you claim back then I suggest you also apply for the Egg Money Credit Card which pays you 1% Moneyback annually on all spend made on the card. Pay this off in full every month and this will make you an extra £60 per year based on £500 per month.

    Cheers

Help With Credit Card - Not sure what to do.

    Hi guys

    Need some advice please.

I have around £2500 owing on a credit card and I currently use a First Direct Gold card which gives me 0% on purchases until Oct 08 and 4.9% on my original balance transfer of £1900 done back in February for 5 years.!!!!!

Am I getting a good deal here. I work as a National Account Manager and my credit card is like gold dust to me. I am spending on average £500 per month on my expenses.

I just got an Abbey Zero card, as I have recently just remortgaged. This looks a great deal as its 0% on transfers, purchases for 6 months, and it dont cost you a fee to transfer.

Not sure what to do though, do I stick with First Direct or do I change to Abbey Zero.

    Your Help is apriciated
