    Re: Help! Which isa?

If I ever give you one piece of advise, it is this: Avoid the Nationwide like the plague. Read my post 'Anyone transferred an ISA to Nationwide' as to why.

Many ISA providers will let you transfer existing ISA's to a new one although some of the ones with a better rates of interest don't allow it.

The ISA transfer should be easy and be completed within thirty days of the new provider receieving funds (unless of course they are the Nationwide in which you could have died of old age by the time they start to take an interest).

Search the ISA accounts page on the savings comparison site for what is the best.

    Help! Which isa?

    Hi there,

I currently have a mini-isa with ING Direct, which only has about £800 in at present. I do have another £1200 which I would like to deposit, but I'm thinking it might be a good idea to switch to someone who's offering more interest.

I will also plan on making regular monthly deposits. Not really that fussed about instant access either, as I don't plan on touching it for at least 12 months.

Can anyone advise me of who I could switch to please? I'm aware that not everyone will let you transfer your old isa, or funds in your old isa, to a current one.

    Thanks in advance.
