I know this is tottally late but there's a number for Directline in Germany which has English speaking operators it's: +493328397845022 if anyone has any tips for getting insurance in Germany please post it here as i think MOD people in germany get screwed for insurance.

I'm afraid I don't know any insurance companies in Germany but I do know for a fact that Direct Line are out there. Your best bet is to go onto www.google.de and in the search engine type direct line, I'm sure you'll find their german site. Your biggest problem is going to be finding someone who can speak & read german to get through the question pages!
