Phone up any electric supplier. They'll estimate it for you. You'll have to tell them how many rooms, what sort of heating and what sort of water heating.

Or go round and introduce yourself to your neighbours and slip it in to the conversation.

    Re: Help on estimates please

Average annual electric consumption for a 3 bed house is 5.500 kwh. Thats based on the assumption that a house also has a gas supply so I would not reduce that figure to take account of the efficiency that comes with a new build. You are probably looking at an annual spend of about £500 but that will varies by your location. Put your post code and the 5500 Kwh consumption figure in the Moneysupermarket comparison service and you will see the best supplier for your area.

    Help on estimates please

Just bought first house, and waiting to move in so doing some budget planning. I need help on estimating my monthly electricity bill. The house is entirely electric, no gas. So thats electric hob/oven, and heating system etc etc. Its a new build, and meant to be an effective and efficient heating system. The house has three bedrooms, nine rooms in total i think, and approx 900sq ft. Any sort of ball park figures would be a help. Thanks.
