Re: Help in regards to insurance renewal.

I am currently 24 turning 25 in Oct.

    Lucky you

I passed my test in February 08.

    WELL DONE

I have had 2 accidents One in Febreuary - Not Me driving was an additional driver but claim is going against me, which i understand. And one claim in April 08 - me as the driver.

    BAD LUCK

My renewal has come through and as expected is sky high.

    COULDNT AGREE MORE

    1. Will my premium reduce when i am 25 if so will it be drastically reduced or just slightly ?

NO,not untill renewal at least but to be honest considering risk even with no claims discount of 1 year you woudlnt be likely to get any decent discounts,

    2. Will my premium be lower when i have had my license for 1 year and more, and again will this be drastic or slight ?

    Slight at best!!

    3. If i do switch companies and don't make a claim upto April 2009 - one year since last claim will i still be able to claim 1 year no claims bonus as the 1 year is split between companies / or does it need to be with same company to be eligible ?

NO,ncd goes by poolicy year not by a year since you last claimed, that would only happen if you changed companies or policys on the day of the accident.

    4. is there any regulations to stop me buying 1 month insurance policies with companies like norwich union/aa/temp cover and doings this every month / do i still acrue NCB if i do with same company every month ?

Not sure on this one because i never dealt with them,id imagine no though by 1 month policys are short term so as you would be likely to change companys in that time id say 90% sure its no,

If you were to stay with same company you would be best just taking a annual policy.

Help in regards to insurance renewal.

I am currently 24 turning 25 in Oct.

I passed my test in February 08.

My renewal has come through and as expected is sky high.

My renewal is due on Aug25 2 months before turning 25

Now my questions are as follows.

    1. Will my premium reduce when i am 25 if so will it be drastically reduced or just slightly ?

    2. Will my premium be lower when i have had my license for 1 year and more, and again will this be drastic or slight ?

    3. If i do switch companies and don't make a claim upto April 2009 - one year since last claim will i still be able to claim 1 year no claims bonus as the 1 year is split between companies / or does it need to be with same company to be eligible ?

I thank you for your answers in advance !!!
