    Heating Cover

Hi I was looking into this and was wondering if anybody had a view on which was the better option - a maintenance deal or an insurance deal?

I am guessing that there are various pros and cons to each type......

I use British Gas Home Care cover for Heating /Electrics/and Drains Tel 0845 7 365 100; I have alsways found them very good and the service they provide excellent; it certainly provides a lot of peace of mind; you can cjoose what level of cover you want; if you make an enquiry for cover with British Gas - and don't take it out straight away they seem to contact you again with a better deal a few days later - so if you aren't in too much hurry it is worth a try.

British gas now make you ring for your safety check or you don't get one, also, now that some non condensing boilers are not being produced, they will tell you that they are obsolete even though the parts will be available for years, and the engineers are paid commision to sell you a new boiler, check the terms and conditions against these.
