    Re: Heathrow Engine centre

£3000 1 month to fix it broke down in less than 4 weeks - 5 days to "fix" and it broke down less than 4 weeks later.

The dealer that fixed my car said the original head had been fitted with a thicker head gasket to hide it!!

They are really aggressive and perhaps need to go on Watchdog for a second time.

Hi there. The met are indeed involved and have been for a number of months. However, as I understand it, taking Civil action would instantly absolve them of their responsibilities. I am relying on them to take proper action as I believe a number of crimes may have been committed here and it is my opinion that only the Met can bring these people to answer. You may also find that a number of cases have been brought against these people and if the information in these p[ages is reliable, they owe huge amount sof money to people and to government bodies!

    Re: Heathrow Engine centre

The best advice on this site so far is the recurring one which is to report any incident directly to the Met. As I have already mentioned the contact details are on Tradedrights and the link is in the "Profile" which you can access by clicking on Tradedrights in the top left corner of this post. if you prefer, to start your own file, that is fine too but please be aware that every "new" case has to go through the usual qualification etc.

I have absolutely no doubt that if everyone pulled together and reported their experience to the Met, the Met would feel more inclined to speed things up.

    Re: Heathrow Engine centre

I have already reported the matter to the Met. They did not reply to my request for advice. I tried the number that was stated and the nice lady said it was the wrong number, and that he was a DC not DCI as stated in an earlier post.

    shall I re-send the request?

    Re: Heathrow Engine centre

i would go directly to Acton police station to report your incident

Once you have obtained a crime number i am sure the police will follow it up.

    good luck.

    Hi

I am rather surprised that you were told it was t he wrong case number! I can assure you that it is the case number relating to my case and it is very much alive and progressing. In fact, I had a letter from them yesterday, under the very reference, telling me that "the investigation was ongoing". I have just emailed them back asking them to take a closer look at this site and the relevant posts.

As I have mentioned before, my case was taken over by the Met in Southall whose number can be found on the Met's website http://www.met.police.uk.

The only sensible action is to report any genuine crime committed against you by these people, to the Met. The police ARE interested in stopping crime and with the huge number of victims who have suffered at the hands of these people, there is every chance that our united efforts will succeed.

    Re: Heathrow Engine centre

Just for anyone in 2 minds - be absolutely sure and know - that this is a 'company' in name only and exists to obtain money from unfortunate individuals like me and do no,little, or exceptionaly poor work. Very accomodating to start with and then goes very steeply down hill .

Do not engage........go to your tried and trusted and pay more or if not economical for work to be completed locally do not allow the initial price quoted by this lot to change your mind on this. I am fortunate in that I am robust and resourceful but still deeply regret clicking on the previously mentioned web site.

keep clear or you WILL regret it.......
