Hi -- Three years is the longest period I know of for an insurer to allow for a dormant period. There was another post that stated as long as you could supply proof from your overseas insurer with the policy worded in English, that certain UK insurance companies would allow your NCD entitlement acquired abroad to continue here in the UK.

Hi, I have been overseas (I drove a lot there) before that I had full no claims discount here in the UK. Do I have to reset back to nil again?
