Re: Has your house suffered subsidence

if it has you will face increases in premium do not bother as such with direct insurers go to specialist brokers make sure they guarantee to pass the cover to future buyers other wise its worthless or the buyer will not get cover so will walk away

If your subsidence excess is over £1000 after being underpinned try to find a better specialst deal

if they ask you for a survey fee first do keep looking

    Has your house suffered subsidence

With the mild dry winter and hosepipe bans predicted throughout the summer there's a possibility of the ground drying out and as a result houses may experience slippage or subsidence, has anyone made any claims in the past for this? Or has anyone any comments on how to prevent/minimise the risk of this?
