    It' usually possible to extend a contents policy to items taken outside, why not ask?

    That is what I thought, but if it was stolen, and it wasn't from the house. (Pub, or shopping for example?) So therefore wouldn't come under house contents, if it isn't stolen from the house?

    I was looking for some kind of personal belongings insurance?

    Any ideas?

    I should think your house contents (assuming you have a policy) would be best for this.

    Handbag Insurance

    I have recently had a nice handbag bought for me.

    I really want to get it insured. Can anyone help me by giving me a few companies who might do this.

    Also, what catagory would this type of insurance come under?
