Great current account from Lloyds

    I think I'm still going to go for the Co-op one... just don't trust Lloyds (or maybe it's that I trust the Co-op a lot, not sure):

    I thought that too but on previous occasions when I asked I have been told it's not possible.

    Hi Jalexa,

    It is my understanding that you can ask your bank to put a limit on the amount that can be withdrawn from the ATM on any one day. It is usually set up when you open your account.

    If you want to withdraw more than this you will probably need to visit a branch.

    Not possible.

    For somebody that can use all the benefits of a packaged account it seems quite comprehensive though I'm going to save my £204/year and stick with separate price comparisons. Partly because I don't trust banks.

    The airport lounge access is potentially useful but if I read the description right it's not available for domestic travel.

    Another thing. I don't want to be able to lose £500/day from my account. Could somebody please tell me if there is an account I can limit my potential losses to £100/day.

    Without sounding like am doing sales pitch I thought should let people know about this great current account I recently upgraded to.

    Lloyd’s tsb platinum vantage current account amongst other benefits lets you use VIP lounge on your way out of the airports. This is fantastic service if you book through them and they even best any quotes you might find online. Also for the more spoilt types they have meet and greet services at all major UK airports.

    Not to mention unlimited trip worldwide travel insurance, international phone insurance, AA breakdown with home start, greater withdrawal limits (£500) per day, sentinel etc its awesome value for money I must say.

    So instead of paying several different places I must say one should invest in this all ‘Daddy’ of account and get terrific value. Even winter sports are included on travel insurance!!!
