Perhaps they are trying to tell you something. From what you've said here, it sounds to me like a car loan is the last thing that you need at the moment.

Why not find a few hundred pounds and, instead of spending time looking for credit, spend time finding out how to tell the difference between a worn out car and a good buy (there are plenty of sites to help).

Im 20 years old and have lived in the UK all my life. I am due to have a baby in Febuary and need a loan for a car.

Yes i understand were in the credit and noone wants to lend but Gosh! I have been told over and over i have No credit history, so not bad or good history, just none at all!!

I have two phone contracts on two different phone networks and have done for over two years now, im great with payments so dont understand why i have no credit, surely if you can be accepted or declined for a phone contract this should count towards my credit score. I also had a company phone me and say they think im being declined because im not on the electors role, to later find out that i am so why has NOONE got me showing on their system

What can i do to get credit?! Its like they want you to take out a credit card and get yourself in debt cus they will sure show on your history!! bad credits fine, as long as your showing.I kno people who have terrible credit but get accepted for loans and store cards all the time and people like me, good payer, reliable but dont get a chance
