Re: Getting a contract with bad credit?

Anybody reading this would be quite MAD to enter into any kind of agreement with these phonesonfinance.com people. Have just this minute checked out the APR after reading this post; they charge a "WHOPPING 95% INTEREST!!!" Does anyone seriously need a contract phone bad enough that they would pay literally double to this company???

Re: Getting a contract with bad credit?

with reference to the above i think youll find that phonesonfinance provide just the latest phones at rip off prices you dont get a contract with them they are either sim free or pay as you go so no point at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got my contract phone with vodafone via there phone line sales and my credit was appalling, best off applying by phone rather than internet!

Re: Getting a contract with bad credit?

I was looking at the phones on finance type things but they are all sooooo expensive!  AND they're not even contract phones!

In the end I got mine from http://mobilephones.     guaranteedfinance.info (sorry - had to split the url it wouldn't let me post it otherwise!)

They also sell pay monthly contract sims on their own without having to buy a phone! and their main site www.guaranteedfinance.info does loads of other stuff for people with bad credit ....or in my case - really crap credit!!!

Re: Getting a contract with bad credit?

Ive got a crappy credit rating, I dont have a credit card or a debit card. All I have is a pre-pay Mastercard and Ive just got confirmation from T-Mobile that my nice new shiny Samsung U600 will be with me tomorrow by 1pm, I got it on the Flext 25. I reckon T-Mobile are probably more lenient than others as O2 declined me.

Re: Getting a contract with bad credit?

    BE CAREFUL WITH T-MOBILE!!

I was one of those in this thread recommending T-Mobile, however if you miss a payment they charge extortionate fees for missing. I've just had to pay £40 in charges for being 2 weeks late with one payment. Add this to the £70 Lloyds-TSB charge for the refused DDs and you can see why I'm pretty *** off.

    Best wishes .. RewtDewd

Re: Getting a contract with bad credit?

    People Help!!!

Its not that I have bad credit - just that I have no credit rating in the UK. Just moved from Ireland and am being refused a contract with O2, and am sick of paying through the nose for calls on pay as you go. Advise me pls. Can't be shelling out money for airtime all the time....

    :)

Re: Getting a contract with bad credit?

If you're struggling to obtain credit for a mobile phone, there are plenty of options available at hand. Of course there are numerous companies which specialise in helping people with bad credit, but these should only be used as a last resort because of the high costs. Its still quite possible to apply for a mobile contract with one of the more mainstream companies, without having to pay over the odds.
