Re: Gas bill - sky high

Hi wertert99. My mum had a similar situation at her previous property. She was hit with a HUGE bill. After months of arguing with British Gas, and having her meter read, and re-read, and read again, it was finally discovered that a local shop was somehow taking gas from her supply. Their bills were surprisingly low! All I can suggest is argue, argue, argue, if the bill is unrealistic. It worked for my mum, albeit about 9 months after the fact!

    Gas bill - sky high

    Hi All

Moved into a new house in Sept. Gas bill are really high. £530 for Oct, £670 for November ! It's a large detached house but this is still ridiculous. House used to be a B&B so we have alot of rads but most of them are switched off. It's not even that warm !

Need help as we are not planning to refit the heating until next summer.

    Any Ideas ?

    Wert
