    Thanks paul, i know it hasnt gone live yet i just reieveda fax from their marketing dept, i know it said businesses pay £20 a month to be on the register so i suppose thats ok, as many people in the uk will move over to a totally free number from land lines offices and it said mobiles free this summer.

    I've passed this one around the office this morning and none of us have had any experience of using this service so can't really comment. I'll open this up to our forum users to see if they can offer any views.

    freesearch 118 - the new free 118 service

    what do you think of the new free 118 service, no text spam no automated system, real people answering the phone ?
    i know you pay a pound to activate your land line, but its then free unlimited calls to the call centres in Liverpool and Sheffield.
    apparently they make businesses pay £20 a month to be on the list, but if a business isnt on the freesearch register they offer us an alternative in order to help, they say within 3 months all mobile calls will be free too ? what you think ?
