We need a general software forum for people to request help regarding software for their PC's

It's a good idea - and I'd like to hear what all the other members feel about this.

At some point in the future, I'd like to be able to give experienced members the ability to add and create their own forums beyond the existing framework. However, I don't want this to become another forum where it's impossible to find the information that you need. I also need to know that this really is something that people want. The more discussion and interest we can generate around the idea, the easier it is for me to justify it - there's little point in adding something if it isn't going to be used. I like the idea - but I think we need to make it clear why it's there and what it's for in the first place...

So, a call to our community: Let us know what you think!

Hi --- Personally I think there are more than enough existing forums of that nature already out there such as "digitalspy" to name one of the many, where people can easily visit for specialist advice on technical subjects.

I cannot really see the demand for a forum of such a technical subject having a useful need mixed into this forum, which is basically for the discussion of financial issues and services.

However -- no objections...just my opinion.
