I used Crown Currency Exchange for US $ and got very good rates. They are very efficient and do what they promise. It is a bit of a leap into the unknown to hand over your cash and then wait to see if they send you anything but my experience has been very positive and I am now waiting for another batch of $ later this month.

Always worth checking on Currencies Direct as well...
