ORANGE CUSTOMERS CAN NOW CANCEL THEIR CONTRACTS
There is a company called Dmc, and are based in Bradford town centre. I know a number of people who have now had their contracts terminated.
Having spoken to one of the reps at Dmc this Saturday, I was told they now have a new strategy for cancelling Orange contracts, regardless of whether they have been paid cash back or not!
Here it is:
Dmc are using a change in Orange's terms and conditions as an opportunity to help customers escape their Orange contracts.
Last month, Orange removed a range of 07 numbers from customers' bundled minutes to prevent them from making free calls to foreign countries in a revenue-saving exercise. T-Mobile made a similar move in June.
Users of the numbers have been sent a message with their latest bill that reads: 'From 15 December, all call-forwarding services beginning with 07 will no longer be covered by your plan's inclusive any-network minutes and will be charged at 20p per minute.'
Where the change results in 'an excessive increase' in charges, customers are allowed to cancel their contracts. Dmc are helping Orange customers connected by collapsed retailers Fone Zone and CSS Mobiles – many of whom signed up to multiple contracts in the pursuit of large cashback payments – to ditch their agreements with the operator.
One customer said: 'I've cancelled two Orange contracts: my sister's and my dad's.'
If you have an orange contract that you are owed cash back for, call Orange ASAP, and inform them that you wish to cancel your contract, due to a change in their T&C's (see above). They HAVE to cancel your contract, this is the same for all networks, if they change your T&C's while you are in the term of a contract.
