Flexicover Travel Insurance - single trip

I need to arrange some travel insurance for a trip to Mexico in a couple of weeks time.

A couple of months ago I had my blood pressure taken at the doctors and it was higher than usual, so she told me to have it done again a few weeks later which I did. It had come down quite a bit but was not what it used to be. The doctor said it wasn't hypertension and wouldn't be giving me anything for it. When I told her I was applying for travel insurance she said I'd be OK but mention it anyway. Do need to speak to someone at the insurance company?

    Thanks

    Hi Cath201

I don't think there is a need to contact the insurer regarding this as you haven't been diagnosed with hypertension or been prescribed any medication, therefore it is not classed as a pre-existing medical condition, however, by all means if for reassurance you want to mention it then just give them a call, there should be no effect on the premium though.

    Hope this helps

    thanks
