I am on a fixed rate, dual fuel, online rate with Southern Electric until end of November 2008. This rate is much cheaper than I can get elsewhere at the moment but, if I wait until end of November, do you think I will lose out on new fixed rates that are advertised at present?

All these energy price rises is making my head hurt and I certainly think ' the dust needs to settle' meaning the other suppliers will rise their rates soon. So IMO I would leave it, enjoy the cheap rate for now and when the prices increase, my guess in the next month or two at most, do a comparison then not all comparison sites have yet updated their tables. However build in any savings you will make by any charges you may incur by leaving your deal early.
