    Finance Advice Needed

Can anyone out there give me some sound advice PLEASE!! I'm at my wits end, worrying about my financial situation. I have a £1400 overdraft, two credit cards 1 with balance of £6000 the other £950 a Store Card of £800 and a Personal Loan of approx £16000. I applied for a 0% card with Halifax to try and transfer some of the credit card balances over, but they only gave me £1800 credit limit. What can I do? Can I get a second personal loan to condolidate the credit card/store card or is there a better way of doing this. I'm worried about applying for more cards but if that's what I need to do then so be it but if I can only get similar credit limits then whats the point. If anybody is in a similar situation or has just got out of a similar situation please let me know.

    Cheers.

The Citibank Platinum iTunes Mastercard, charges 4.9% for the life of the balance, on debt shifted in the first 90 days, plus a one-off fee of 3% of the debt-shifted. After number crunching it works out cheapest if your debt takes roughly longer than four and a half years to repay (although of course taking longer to repay the debt will be more costly overall).

Thank you for that info. I was refused a card by Citibank last year but suppose I could try them again.

One thing I wondered, is it true that Banks don't do a credit search if you apply for loans? Not sure if I've misunderstood something someone told me.
