FAQ - How to stop multiple email notifications

    Hi,

We've had a few questions about how to switch off the forum email notifications. There are two ways to do this.

When you post a response to a thread, you will automatically be 'subscribed' to receive email notifications when someone responds.

Firstly, you can switch off the email notification for a particular thread by clicking the 'Disable Email Subscription' button at the top left hand side of the first post on the thread.

Secondly, if you want to stop all email subcription or email notifications, you can amend your profile settings by clicking the 'Edit my community profile' button on the main News & Community page and selecting the 'Email' tab.

    Y
    ou will find three options:

    Receive Emails: Yes/No
This stops all emails - including notifications if your post has been moved or deleted.

    Receive Rich HTML Emails: Yes/No
This stops emails being sent with HTML formatting.

Enable Email notifications of forum/thread subscriptions and replies to my posts: Yes/No
This stops emails being sent only when someone replies to a post or thread.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact the Community Editor (graeme.delap @ moneysupermarket.com) or our Customer Services Team on customerservices @ moneysupermarket.com) Don't forget to remove the spaces when emailing...
