    Why should I register?

To take advantage of all the features offered by our site and our community area, you need to have an account. It only takes a few seconds to register, and best of all, it’s free.

You can store your details, save time when creating a new quote, retrieve completed or saved quotes and ask our community members and experts about products, providers and others ways to save time and money.

There are two areas: My Moneysupermarket and the Community forum.

The information in this FAQ relates to the Community forum area. For specific help relating to My Moneysupermarket, please click here.

Please make sure you read the Terms and Conditions of use of the site before carrying out a comparison search. Before you post on the community forum, please read the moneysupermarket.com Community Standards and Terms of Service.

    How do I register?

To create an account you need to visit the registration page, and create a new account. You need to specify details such as your email address, a forum alias, a password as well as agree to our Terms and Conditions.

While you can register and start saving your searches straight away, for security purposes you need to create an alias – this alias is used whenever you create or reply to a post.

You will need to validate your alias via email before attempting to post. To do this, we send you an email that contains a link. Click on this link and validate your account before you attempting to post on our community forum.

The validation email is normally sent out within 5 minutes of registering your username/alias, but on some occasions, this can take longer. Please be patient.

Please also check your 'spam' or 'junk' folder in case it has been put there in error. If you are still having problems, please email our Customer Services team on customerservices @ moneysupermarket.com (remove the spaces around the @).
