    Re: Fake loan advice

Okay, then Loanfinder: what excuse do you have for all the people who did not lie, who were told that they were definitely approved, then received no loan at all. How dare you assume that all these people who are complaining on this forum are liars! Just who do you think you are?

    Re: Fake loan advice

Compliance Lady - Obviously you work for the or know someone who does, either that or you are very bored with yuor life and feel the need to surf the net looking for conversations you can butt in on and put people down.

Your comments are atrocious and extremely incorrect, may be if you had been through the process yourself you would understand what robbing ba*tards they are. How dare you accuse people of basically being stupid and pathetic.

I applied for a loan with a totally seperate company who transferred my details to these cowboys, I had a call from them and they at NO POINT told me they were a loan brokers. They told me on the phone that I HAD BEEN ACCEPTED FOR THE LOAN AND THE MONEY WOULD BE IN MY ACCOUNT IN THREE WORKING days. I called back 3 times in the same hour as I thought it was too good to be true and three times I was told the same thing. I asked again and again. Are you sure that I will be getting it even without signing anything and they SAID YES. It was not until a week later that I recieved forms in the post to sign authorising them to "look for a loan company for me" I was furious, they lied to me. I got all my money back after writing to the Ombudsman there Financial director, watchdog and there Customer Service Manager. Dont you dare tell me that I am a Sheep or that other people on this sight are. Get a grip on what your talking about before you start dropping your two penneth worth in you ignorant person. There are people on here who have been genuinly stung by these idiots and we have allbeen trying to help eachother and stop other people from doing the same thing. Go and crawl back under the rock you came from.

Yes - WHO DO YU THINK YOU ARE! What are you doing on here any way. Why do you even care, you are far too intelligent to be communicating with us low life dumb as* scum bags who (perrish the thought) had to go and try and find some money in the middle of a recession. Goodness, people being made redundant, loosing there houses, not being able to afford to pay there rent or even feed there own kids. What stupid people most of the country must be for trying to Survive and holding on to a tiny strand of hope, that they will be able to keep a roof over there heads. Lets hope your never in any financial trouble hey! Luck you! Open Your eyes.

    Re: Fake loan advice

ujordan24 - Has to be someone from the loan people, when sent my complaint letter into them i printed off all of the posts on this forum and attached it to the letter. When they called me they told me to pay no attention to these sites as it is all a load of lies, apparanlty we are the minority of the millions of customers they help (bull). I am near the start of this forum. I was stung a few months ago, I only came on here this morning to see how thigs were going with everyone, havent checked for a while. Cant believe that they are still managing to get away with it. Even more shocked that people like Lady Compliance have joined the site and feel they have the right to put us all down What happened to kindness. I can only assume they are the Loan people, Surly no one else could be so damn right nasty.

    Re: Fake loan advice

All money paid to brokers is refundable except for a fiver, as long as they have failed to find you a loan. If you pay £50 to have your details taken and they then pass you through to a lender who gives you a loan, then I'm afraid they are fully entitled to keep the lot.

The Govt needs to do something to regulate this, it's ridiculous the amount of people who pay £50 - £70 for absolutely no reason. Maybe we should get a petition together, stampede Downing Street and demand a refund! Anyone game?

    Re: Fake loan advice

Under section 155 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974, a consumer is
entitled to a refund (less £5) of the fee paid to a credit broker if for any
reason the consumer does not enter into a relevant agreement within six months of an introduction to a source of credit or hire.

You should write quoting this part of the act by recorded delivery and demand the return of your money less the statutory £5 fee.

The above act that relates to this was posted on pages 2,3, and 5 then was last posted by myself on 11th March page 9 of this thread.... if it helps then here it is again folks. The problem with ongoing threads is that relevant or vital information gets left behind in the older pages as the thread receives new fresh posts. That's why it's crucial to read a thread of concern from the start to the finish, as a lot of the required info that someone needs or could use to solve their specific problem is already there. !

    Re: Fake loan advice

I too have fallen for this scam, how angry am i? I do have one thing going for me (i hope) regarding the £49.99, i'm still in the cooling off period of 7 days so hopefully i'll get a full refund, i've stated exactly what i think of them in the letter and as someone has previously suggested..i think Watchdog deserve to know about these people. It's not right what they are doing to honest, genuine and in most cases desperate people.

    Re: Fake loan advice

We need all need to unite and stop these companies. The loan people tried the same with me. I told the guy , i have already been conned by The Credit people and there is no way am parting with my money.

He tried to convince me but i was not having it, instead informed him will be reporting the issue to FSA,. I have requested a meeting with my MP to discuss the issue of fake loan advice and ripping off people
