    Normally a six month period needs to have elapsed before you are eligible to apply for another card within the same banking group.

    I became a Barclaycard customer due to Egg's credit card being bought by them. I am now looking for a 0% credit card to transfer a debt to and Barclaycard is the best offer, however it is not available to existing customers. If I cancel my current card does anyone know what period I would have to wait to become eligible to sign up under the new offer?
