    Just to add to the last point here, you may want to try Bell/Admiral. They have been known to give the equivilent in NCD in terms of a discount depending on your driving history....

    If you have opted out of the company car scheme, there are some companies who will accept a statement from your company insurer as evidence of No Claims. See if you can get this and I am sure doors will be open to you!

    Hello,

    I have opted out of the company car scheme and have my own car (BMW 318d). I dont have any 'no claims' although I do have 16 years accident free company car driving and been named driver on wife's car for over 5 years, again no accidents. Can anyone recommend a good insurance company to approach as the prices being quoted are a bit silly!! Thanks in advance.
