Each adult normally uses 5 units per day on ave. For a 3 bed prop and 3 people, presuming you havent got a swimming pool or underfloor heating! lol!

I would say about £30- £37 per month for elec and £50 for gas but it varies depending on time spent in the prop and appliances and time of year! You may be more or less!

They should really be able to tell you based on the caluctualtions and reads you have! I dont have the unit price you are being charged but you can work it out with that!

Go back on the phone and ask them to work out what you have used, its your right to know that! So what if your bill is due in 3 weeks! You want to know now!

Hi there, i need some help.

I have just moved into my first rented home with my partner and my son.

I have a quarterly bill with npower but this will be my first bill and i wanted to know an estimate so i know how much to put by.

I moved into a 3 bedroom house, there is usually always someone in.

I moved in at beginning of feb and still not had a bill yet.

I have looked at the meters and i have used 737kwh of electric and 577kwh of gas. Is this alot?

I have phoned npower for a estimate and get them my meter reading however they have told me my bill is due in 3 weeks so they are unable to give me an estimate. But i have no idea how much i need to put by.

Just need a rough estimate so i have a rough idea of the costs.
