My old Epsom 3200 did not recognise one aftermarket cartidge which I think was from Morrisons at the time. However, I believe that more recent printers and aftermarket cartidges will more often and not work properly re ink levels. My new HP printer recognises Morrison own brand catridge without any problem. In fact it comes up with a message recognising that an alternative refill cartridge is in use and shows the ink levels, Perhaps printer companies are being more eco friendly and therefore are configured to accept recycled refill cartridges.
