    Re: Enterprise car Hire

Hi yes this is normal practise for most firms, if you are very desperate you could ask to speak to the branch manager. refunds by cheques can take upto 28 days.

    Enterprise car Hire

    Hi,

I had to hire a car from Enterprise last week as my motobility car was recalled to the dealership on short notice to have it's gearbox renewed (another story, the car is only 3 month old!!), and as there were no courtesty cars left, i was given a hire car by Enterprise. The dealership paid for the hire but I had to leave a £50 deposit. As my husband had our debit card in London, i paid by cash. I was not told I would recieve this money back as a cheque. (which by the way I still have not recieved.) It has been over a week I have been without my £50, which to me is a lot of money at the moment, and when it eventually does come, i'll have to wait till it clears in the bank.

My question is this, is this normal practice to give your cash deposit back as a cheque?? I feel i have been penalised for not paying with a card.

    thanks if you can help.
