    Re: Energy saving tips

Brilliant! At last when energy prices go through the roof we get a sensible response from somebody with a useful idea. Normally we get some blinkered politico from Energywatch (RIP) telling us to switch supplkier. Of course there are only so many times you can do that and it makes naff all contribution to the impending energy crisis. What a relief to hear someone suggesting we take our destiny into our own hands and start using less energy by sensible, simple means. It has been quite staggering to see how people whinge about energy price rises, yet who fail to do anything about their own lifestyle or take even rudimentary energy saving measures like cavity wall insulation, even though it is heavily subsidised by energy suppiers, sometimes even free!

    Well done!

    Don't switch, save!

PS For one interesting idea, take a look at www.microchap.info with loads of information on micro CHP, your own home generation system!

    Well done microchap

I was beginning to think I was the only one around here that was seeing the most important part of the equation. Whoever your utility supplier is you can guarantee that they are going to bounce up and down the cost graph the same as their competitors because they have to 'compete'!

The only way to save money on energy is to use less energy. This doesn't mean you have to live like a tree-hugger. The advances in home energy efficiency and energy products is staggering, with new stuff getting better and cheaper all the time.

Wake up energy users and stop doing the uSwitch dance.
