    Its not the company that owes you the overpaid tax it is the government.

    Hi, I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice on this. I am a student and over the summer I worked part time, approximately 20 hours a week, however I was emergency taxed throughout the entire 3 months despite asking for a p60 on several occasions. The franchise has now been sold on to someone else. How would I go about reclaiming the tax I am owed?
