    Have you changed your previous E111 form to the new EHIC card?

    No and I've never heard of the new EHIC card. I'll pop down to the PO.

    Yep..more than a year ago. I still travel with travel insurance though; for extra protection :)

    Yup, but you definately still need to travel with insurance as the EHIC
    card doesn't entitle you to free medical assistence, just reduced price
    medical assistence. Definately, always, always travel with adequate
    travel insurance!

    Many insurers will also waive the excess under the Medical expenses section if you reduce medical costs by using the EHIC.
