    Re: efinance-gb

I am sending this notification on behalf of Ds Dovaston at Essex Police. We have arrested a male in connection with the frauds associated with the internet websites “EFinance”, EFinance uk”, “Efinance Gb” and “EUFinance”. This male appeared at Basildon Crown Court yesterday for this matter and other similar matters. To date we only have the details of 7 of you, but we know there are many more victims than this. I have already left messages or spoken to the 7 victims we know about.

It may be that you have notified your local police force, and if that is the case please advise us the crime number and we will seek the paperwork from them.

If, however, you have not reported this to the police then please send details including name, address, date of birth, contact telephone numbers, email address, amount of money lost and some proof of the transaction (such as a scan of the confirmation email from the “Efinance” associated website or similar) to the following Email address:

    1039 AT essex.pnn.police.uk

Alternatively you can send them through the post to:

    Ds 1039 DOVASTON

    Police Station

    6-8 Hall Crescent

    Hadleigh

    Essex SS72QW

These details must be received by 7th September 2009, as the male is due to be sentenced 14th September. Anything after 7th September will not be taken into account by the court as we won’t have time to process the information.

I intend to send an email to all those who have provided details once the male has been sentenced with further information. We will automatically seek compensation for the victims, but if the male is given a custodial sentence then the court will not also grant compensation. He is likely to face a prison sentence.

    Thank you.

    Re: efinance-gb

Hi all, good news. I got in touch with the company that was hosting their current site and have informed them of everything and they have removed his entire website.

That will hopefully prevent some from getting conned like we have.

    Re: efinance-gb

Just tried calling the phone number and it seems to just be automated message for unavailable person meaning they have probably already scammed enough people now as i remember there phone lines went dead the time i got scammed by efinance and then site was removed..So I am guessing there site will dissapear soon....I just think they will keep doing it and it doesnt seem like there is a way to stop them. I was wondering if anyone had any progress in reporting them.

    Re: efinance-gb

Mummyyummy09 - Thanks for the link I agree that this looks like the same people, as such I have passed this onto the police. I did not have a full address either only as you say Creek Road, Canvey Island, Essex. However, I think the police may have a more full address for the suspect.

    Re: efinance-gb

Ah excellent, im glad i kept my receipts as i paid it stright into their bank account, i applied for a loan about 2 and a half- 3 weeks ago, now all links in my emails to them and phone numbers are none existent. i shall report to the police too. Does any one have the canvey address still, i know it creek road, but i cant remmerb the rest or find out. There is another loan company being advetised on face book by the name EBank loan (uk)!! EXACTLY the same lay out, application process etc, just different address & phone numbers you think this is the same people/persons? should i tell the police about this site too?
