    Yeah, I believe British Gas' standard rates for gas are cheaper than those of EDF. Don't want to go on direct debit though.

    1st 670 kWh per quarter charged at the higher rate. You'd save a lot by switching to British Gas click energy 6 on monthly direct debit though I reckon.

    Does anyone know how EDF splits the kwh into the two price bands for gas? I am on their dual fuel standard price plan with no fixed prices, being charged every quarter.
    Any help would be appreciated.
