The price of energy is ridiculous and its been a cold winter.

The EDF energy price is not hugely different to other suppliers. The only issue you can deal with is whether the bill is an accurate read and whether proposed (I mean imposed) DDebit amount is reasonable, but if you have been within £10-15 on your account over 12 months its hardly surprising that the last quarter should be a shock.

I'm not unsympathetic, but what is your point?

Has anybody else just received their March Gas Bill and nearly died of shock?

I know it's been winter and there's been tariff increases in the last 6 months but our gas bill is £350 for the 3 months. This is an increase of roughly 3x our last bill. Now I suppose EDF will take there £150 'bonus' from my account and hike up my DDebit. (By the way, I keep a close eye on my bills and have been within £10-15 credit/debit on my Elec Bill for the past 12 months)
