    Re: EDF Energy Tariff

Thank you very much for your advice. I am now doing this and monitoring the meter so hopefully will soon have a first clue. I do use electric heating (so no gas bills arrive at all), but the reason why I am questioning is that my bill shows that I use almost double (in terms of units) what I used same quarter last year, and my living habits have hardly changed. Surely something is wrong there then?

Firstly check that with everything electric turned off ( remember things on standby, phones, computer etc) the meter is not running. Do you use electric heating? people often think they are paying too much when using this, it is very expensive to run. Come back if you want to know how to work it out. BB

    EDF Energy Tariff

Could somebody help me with this? I live in East London in a one bed flat and have quarterly electricity bill (no gas) with EDF energy. Could somebody give me a rough idea of how much I should expect for my electricity bill? I have a feeling that I am paying way too much!
