i have just set up an account with nationwide, as you mentioned free atm withdrawals abroad was my main reasons. as their branches are few on the ground i do all my banking on the internet, i am sorry i do not know what you mean by OFX formats, i am very happy with the services they offer with their on line banking pop into your local branch they are sure to answer all your queries i found them most helpful and being "newish" to computers they set up my on line account there and then.you need to open a "FLEX ACCOUNT" in order to obtain a debit card for use in atm's home and abroad.

I'm looking at setting up a current account with Nationwide, mainly because there is a branch in my town, I don't need any fancy add-on packages, and they offer free ATM withdrawals when abroad.

I know they have an Internet banking service that allows you to download bank statements but I have been unable to find out what formats this is in. Ideally I would like to download them in OFX format so I can import in to something like Accountz (or the like)... does anyone know whether Nationwide supports OFX downloads?
