I have only just managed to switch from NPower, it has taken me a year and they have been absolutely shocking. Basically, all my requests to switch were rejected, for no good reason at all, when I called to ask what was happening, they said they had never received any requests, which was a lie I have now discovered. It has therefore taken me a year and 5 requests to manage to get away from them, I never received a bill in all this time and now I have finally received one, I have a week to pay £150. I should never have received this bill as I was switching back to BG and the Price Protection 2010 plan which if I had been I would actually be £50 in credit rather than £150 in debit. I've written and called npower about this, they couldn't care less. I have had problems with a lot of internet/gas/electricity/phone/etc... providers, but this is by FAR the WORSE I have ever seen. Don't do it to yourself, avoid them like the plague....
