There probably are other mortgage products available for your requirements but are not advertised widely . Natwest were offering a 10 year fixed at 5.79% for 80% LTV. If you see money.co.uk, there is some information on 10 year deals, but you would have to enquire whether these are still available and whether you qualify.

It may save you time to go to a good local Independent Mortgage Brokers, who will look at the whole of the market.

can anyone tell me if anyone does unsecured joint loans for ten years ?

both myself and my wife have good credit rating, but would prefer to have a joint loan application, as my wife pays the bills etc from her wages, and mine is just spending money, but trying to explain this on an application in just my name is all a bit fcnfusing for them,

any help or feedback be great,
