The fundamental point about this is that the Business Manager told me, although I have no written evidence, that the deposit would be fully refundable should m inheritance not come through on time. There is no way I would have placed a deposit if he had not have stated this. He specifically agreed to this fact but is now saying he never made this statement and herein lies my grouse with the dealer as they are not being honest, telling the truth or being professional. I did sign a contract but for a specific delivery timescale of one month, which obviously never happened.
All I would like the dealer to say is yes, we did say the deposit is fully refundabel and offer me it back.
