Thankyou immensely for your reply, I contacted both company's that I have the agreements  with and apparently they have not put default on my credit file.

    Thankyou again

I think that the default notices are added to your credit file when they are issued to you, but you can apply to the lender to remove them, I enclose  articles about default notices.

Re: defaults on my credit agreements

    hi naomi

I think this would depend on the company you have the agreement with. In an ideal world neither of them would leave a default on your file. The best thing is to ring them, tell them you will be paying/have paid the outstanding payments and ask if they will leave default on your file.

Good luck and fingers crossed that they don't!

    defaults on my credit agreements

I have just received two default notices for two different credit agreements, however if paid by the 9 May the amount requested this should remedy the breach can anyone tell if this still records DEFAULT on my credit file as I am on the verge of completing a sale on my home and in the near future would like another mortgage.
