    Re: default

Don't worry too much. I suggest you look in the phone book under Citizens Advice Bureau, and make an appointment to see a debt advisor. They will contact RBS and get your interest frozen, and work out a repayment scheme that you can afford.

    Hi..

I am really worried. My husband left me and 2 kids with lot of debt (he ran off with his affair!). I ahve managed to clear it all, get myself on track except for RBs credit card. I have now been issued with default notice...I owe £2K (even though they owe me £5K in bank charges!!). I ahve pais 3 months of £100. What is a default? How do I clear my debt? What effect does this have onmy credit rating now and later? I do not have credit card, am in long term employment and work hard for me and 2 kids (who he doesnt see). I badly need advice!!

    Thank you!
